Mother’s Day 2019: Janhvi Kapoor Shares A Throwback Picture With Mom Sridevi And Pens A Heartwarming Message

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Janhvi Kapoor remembers her late mother Sridevi with an endearing picture post. She shares a photo from her childhood days and with it, she even puts up an adorable message.
Janhvi took to her Instagram page and wrote, “Cherish them, listen to them, give them all the love in the world Happy Mother’s Day”. In the picture, Sridevi is seen dressed in a white saree whereas li’l Janhvi is wearing a golden lehenga. She can be seen wearing her mother’s gold necklace around her neck and looks too cute in a bindi and pigtails.

A few days back too, Janhvi had shared a post with her mother and written, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.”
Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018 and the cause of her death was said to be accidental drowning in a bathtub in Dubai. Her shocking demise happened during the time when Janhvi was shooting for her debut flick, Dhadak. SpotboyE.com had even interviewed the actress and her co-star from the film Ishaan Khatter, barely a few months after her mother had passed away. Yet, she had very bravely answered our questions.
Janhvi’s debut performance earned her accolades and the newbie already has 3 films in her kitty. She will be seen in Kargil Girl co-starring Pankaj Tripathi. Then, she has Karan Johar’s Takht that also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. And, producer Dinesh Vijan’s Rooh-Afza.
Speaking of her father Boney Kapoor, on Friday, he had shared an endearing post as Sridevi’s last film MOM released in China that day.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and Shoojit Sircar have come together to pay an ode to all the mothers in the world and have released a special video, where Big B has also lent his voice.
